Hypnosis and You
Hypnosis is a natural state of heightened awareness where we easily take on suggestions and replace limiting ideas with those that serve us better. Since feelings of anxiety, nervousness, fear and stress are learned on a subconscious level, hypnosis helps to reframe those imprints.
Although everyone can be hypnotized, hypnosis cannot operate in contradiction to the will. Since it is a natural state of awareness, the desire and willingness to be hypnotized is important to your success.
Hypnosis is a complementary therapy, accepted by the American Medical Association (AMA), and is used in conjunction with your medical or mental health provider. It is in no way a substitute for the sound medical advice that only your physician can provide. You can be confident that your hypnotherapist will work closely with your doctor to monitor your progress.
You may be wondering if hypnosis is right for you. Because every person is different, it is difficult to determine an exact number of sessions, in advance. Reaching out to provide your information is the first step. After a thorough and confidential conversation, both of you will determine if hypnosis is right for you.
“Hypnosis has helped me get my life back. I suffer from chronic pain and I now have better regulation of my emotional and physical health.”
— Janet, age 54
